These all-purpose aluminum stock pots are the perfect addition to any cooking environment. This line of commercial strength aluminum stock pots feature vented lids and heavy duty riveted handles. These stock pots also feature a perforated aluminum basket. The Steam – Boil – Fry aluminum stock pots (please see list below) have indentions that raise the basket 1 ¾ inches above the bottom for steaming or boiling.
Use the basket for deep frying chicken, fish or hushpuppies; steaming or boiling seafood, clams and vegetables. Uses of stock pot without basket include boiling soups, stews, gumbo, jambalaya and low country boils.

What size stock pot do you need? Here are some facts and opinions to help you.
The 24 quart – 60 quart stock pot can be used indoors on a stove top, on low pressure (low 35,000 BTU) or on high pressure patio stoves.
If you are boiling large amounts of crawfish, lobster or even a clam bake, your best bet is the 80 – 120 quart stock pots. To give you a general idea, an 100 quart stock pot can boil a full sack of crawfish (35 – 40 pounds). However, because of seasoning issues, we usually half the sack when cooking.
When using a larger stock pot, we use the SQ14 patio stove due to the high BTU rating and design. This allows us to soak the crawfish and return the water to a boil quickly without waiting a long period of time.
