Single Propane Burners
Choose from a wide range of single propane burners. We offer a wide variety of single propane burners from collapsible propane burners to several versions of the Kick A Banjo Burner. Our single propane burners with the 5 inch element (silver thing in the middle) are perfect to use as an outdoor stove and are commonly referred to as fry burners. However, these fry burners cannot handle large pots. They just don't produce enough heat. The single propane burners with the silver "pipe" burner (3" element burner) in the middle is our favorite. This one can handle any heat you push - all the way up to a 40 PSI regulator. (That's melting stuff heat ... don't. Just don't.) The Kick A Banjo Burners are capable of heating even extra large pots and has great flame control! People use the Kick A Banjo propane burners with jambalaya pots and for beer brewing. Jet burners? Well, Cajuns swear by them - but our experience has been that they produce a lot of noise, waste a lot of propane but do heat up a pot pretty quickly - just as quickly as the 3" element burners. So - if it floats your boat.
What's your preferred propane burner out of all the outdoor propane burners and why?
Our favorite and PREFERRED burner out of all the ones we carry? This one: High Pressure Propane Burner
Why? A. It has a huge amount of flame control. Turn it up to boil an 120 quart pot or turn it down to simmer a super small veggie pot. B. If we want to get more heat out of it, we can by buying a higher BTU regulator kit and know it would handle it. C. My grandma could carry it - so more than likely you can too. It's not nearly as heavy as all the others. D. It's the exact same thing as the SP10, but cheaper.
